Aunties under the fig tree

More about this product

93cm x 93cm x 5.5cm

Acrylic on canvas, buttons & beads (including floating timber frame).

Set near the beach under a big old Moreton Bay fig tree, you can see Mulgumpin (Moreton Island) in the background.

I use trees in my paintings to also represent people. The trunk is our body, the roots are our connection to where we are from or are, and the foliage is growth.
